Privacy Policy

This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) (together with our Terms of Use and any other documents referred to in it) explains how Frey uses, processes and protects electronic data that we collect from Users (as defined in the Terms of Use), or that Users provide to Frey. This Privacy Policy also explains the types of data Frey collects, how Frey keeps it secure, as well as how Users can access or alter any personal data stored by Frey. This Privacy Policy governs User’s use of the Website, and any other way Users may connect to or interact with Frey through the use of the Services. Unless otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, all terms used in the Privacy Policy are intended as defined in the Terms of Use. 

Identifying information

Users may be asked to enter information such as their name, email address, mailing address, phone number or other identifying information, which Frey needs to process orders, enroll Customers in subscription services, or otherwise provide the Services. Frey does not store any payment information. All payments are processed and stored via our third-party payment provider.

When does Frey collect information?

Frey collects User identifying information when a User enters any information into the Website, such as registering for Services, purchasing a Product, enrolling in a subscription service on our site, or requesting information or help.

BY GIVING ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO FREY, THE USER CONSENTS TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY AND THE TERMS OF USE.

How does Frey use personal information?

Frey uses User personal information in the following ways:

  • To process purchases and create accounts.
  • To contact Customers when appropriate.
  • To enable Frey to provide the Services.
  • To personalize the User’s experience and to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which the User is most interested.
  • To improve the Website and the User experience.
  • To better service Customers in response to customer service requests.
  • To quickly process Purchases and any other transactions.
  • To request ratings and reviews of services or products
  • To follow up with Users in response to any correspondence requiring or requesting a response 
  • Text marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send text messages about our store, new products, and other updates. Updates include Checkout Reminders. Webhooks will be used to trigger the Checkout Reminders messaging system.

How does Frey protect personal information?

Frey takes all reasonable technical and organizational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of personal information.

While the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure, Frey takes all reasonable precautions to protect Users’ personal information once it is in Frey’s custody. FREY CANNOT GUARANTEE THE SECURITY OF ANY INFORMATION, IDENTIFIABLE OR OTHERWISE, TRANSMITTED TO THE WEBSITE; ANY TRANSMISSION IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

The Website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes, malware, viruses or known vulnerabilities in order to ensure the Website is as secure as reasonably possible. User personal information is stored behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. All personal data in stored in a manner compliant with local and federal law.

Frey does not collect or store any financial information. All sensitive/credit information supplied by Customers is processed and stored by our third party payment processor. The transmission of payment information is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology that is maintained and implemented by our third party payment processor. 

To that end, Frey implements a variety of security measures when a User places an order for a Product, or enters, submits, or accesses their information. All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.

Correcting or accessing personal information

Users can request a statement of the personal information Frey collects and can request a correction by emailing support@livefrey.com or by following the instructions to correct account information as described in Frey’s Terms of Use. 

Non-identifying information 

Frey collects certain non-identifying information, such as cookies, pixels, and other tracking information from Users. This non-identifying data allows Frey to connect activity on the Website with other information Frey may store about Users’ prior interactions on the Website. Examples of ways in which Frey may use non-identifying information including User preferences, feedback to improve the quality of the Services, tracking trends, or measuring the effectiveness of advertising.  Users may adjust the settings on their browser to refuse cookies, but that may result in a degraded experience.

Use of cookies

"Cookies" are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to a computer’s hard drive through the user’s Web browser (if the browser allows cookies) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize a specific browser and capture and remember certain information. When you use the Services, Frey may place one or more cookies on your computer or other electronic devices or use other technologies that provide similar functionality.

Frey uses cookies to improve Users’ experience on the Website. For instance, Frey may use cookies to remember and process the items in a Customer’s shopping cart. Cookies also help Frey understand Users’ preferences based on previous or current site activity, which may improve the Services. Frey may also use cookies to compile aggregate (i.e. non-identifiable) data about site traffic and site interaction to offer better site experiences and tools in the future.

Users can choose to have their computer alert a user each time a cookie is being sent, or Users can choose to turn off all cookies. Cookies can be disabled through browser settings. Because every browser is a little different, Users should refer to their browser’s Help Menu to learn the correct way to modify cookies.

If a browser does not accept cookies, some of features that make the Website experience more efficient may not function properly and the User’s experience may be degraded.

Third-party disclosure

Frey may allow certain third parties to collect non-identifiable information about a User’s activities on the Website, by using cookies and other technologies. These third parties include: (a) business partners, who collect information when a User views or interacts with one of their advertisements on the Website, and (b) advertising networks, who collect information about Users’ interests when a User views or interacts with one of the advertisements placed on many different web sites on the Internet. The information gathered by these third parties are non-personally identifiable information which is used to make predictions about User characteristics, interests or preferences and to display advertisements on the Website, and across the Internet which are tailored to a User’s interests. 

Please be aware, however, that FREY DOES NOT CONTROL THESE THIRD PARTIES' TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES OR HOW THEY MAY BE USED. Frey makes no representations as to third parties’ implementation or use of these technologies. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly.

Frey does not include or offer third-party products or services on our website.

California Do Not Track Disclosure

Frey does not collect personal information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites or online services. Nevertheless, Frey may choose to do so in the future. If Frey does enable tracking, Frey will honor do not track signals and will not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place. Use of “do not track” signals on a web browser or mobile device, or do not track signals, will not affect a User’s experience on the Website and the Website will not respond to such signals.
